RANN UTSAV · DHORDO
A Rann Utsav stay near the white desert.
The festival belongs to the salt horizon around Dhordo. Namak is a tent stay on that horizon: twenty-one places to return to after the light has changed.

WHY DHORDO
Stay where the landscape is the point.
Rann Utsav draws people to the White Rann around Dhordo, where a salt landscape meets the music, dance and craft of Kutch. The horizon is not a backdrop you collect on the way to somewhere else. It is the reason the season exists.
Namak takes its name from salt. Twenty-one stays, on the Khavda–Dhordo road near Dhordo, Gujarat 370510, bring that openness back to a human scale.
THE WHITE DESERT
Full moon, and the quieter nights between.
At the White Rann the horizon becomes the main event. Mornings can be still. Later light warms the salt. A full-moon night is another register entirely: the same ground, read by a different sky. The season also holds festive weeks and darker nights, and each has its own pace.
Namak’s published calendar runs from November 2026 to February 2027. It marks full-moon nights, dark-moon dates and festive weeks, including the Diwali week in November and the Christmas and New Year period. Exact dates are confirmed with reservations. A marked week is useful only when the tent is free.

Tents for the festival, with meals included.
There are twenty-one stays, and the choice is really about space and the dining plan.
Premium Tent
Ten tents, each 392 sq ft. The standard rate is ₹8,500 + GST per tent, per night, for two guests. Breakfast, hi-tea and dinner are included, together with a cultural programme. An extra person is ₹2,500 + GST per night, once reservations confirm the tent can take another guest.
Super Premium Tent
Ten tents, each 520 sq ft, at ₹10,500 + GST per night for two guests, with the same meals and cultural programme. The extra-person charge matches the Premium tent. The extra space is for a slower pace.
Darbari Suite
One suite, 1,200 sq ft, at ₹28,000 + GST per night for two guests on every day of the calendar. All meals and priority check-in are included. Pickup, drop-off, sightseeing and transfers follow the confirmed itinerary. Complimentary early check-in and late checkout are offered only when the suite is free to allow them. An extra person is ₹6,000 + GST per night.
Inside, the tents stay quiet: patterned canvas, dark timber, warm textiles, a timber bed, a sofa opposite, and a dressing console with a tall mirror. Illustrations show the approved design. The layout of a particular category is confirmed when you book.

THE TARIFF
Full-moon and festive supplements do apply.
Standard rates above are the starting point. Premium and Super Premium tents carry an additional tariff on published premium dates. GST is extra on the rate, on the supplement and on any extra person.
November and February full-moon dates add ₹1,500 + GST per tent, per night. With that supplement the night is ₹10,000 for Premium and ₹12,000 for Super Premium, before GST. The period from 18 to 31 December, and the January full moon, add ₹3,000 + GST per tent, per night. Those nights are ₹11,500 and ₹13,500 before GST. The Darbari Suite does not take these supplements. It remains ₹28,000 + GST on all days.
Christmas and New Year celebrations on the calendar extend to 2 January. The December supplement itself applies only from 18 to 31 December. Other festival dates on the calendar do not add a tariff under the current plan. Confirm the full-moon dates for your arrival before you treat a figure as final.
Open the rates and the season calendarTHE DAY ITSELF
Breakfast, the Rann, then an evening to come home to.
Begin with breakfast. Leave the middle of the day for the destination. Return for hi-tea, dinner and the cultural programme confirmed for your dates. Timings are agreed when the stay is planned.
Hodka, Nirona and Road to Heaven are places guests ask about. They are part of the visit only when the confirmed itinerary says so. They are not a standard inclusion for Premium or Super Premium tents. The Darbari plan includes sightseeing and transfers only as that itinerary sets them out.
For the length of the journey, the Rann of Kutch travel guide suggests two nights. The Kutch journal is the shorter rates note. Meal plans sit on the dining and culture page.
When you are ready, call +91 96240 00466 or continue on WhatsApp. An enquiry is not a confirmation. Reservations reply with availability and the total, including GST.
